Recovery Support-C.A.R.E. (Community Action Response & Engagement)
Provides a recovery support specialist to connect individuals and their families with resources and case management/counseling services.
Mission
To connect individuals living with substance use disorder who are at risk of entering the criminal justice system with community resources for mental health services and/or addictions services.
What does a Recovery Support Specialist do?
Recovery Specialists serve as role models, mentors, advocates, and motivators to recovering individuals to prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery.
Recovery Specialists can assist you in navigating your road to recovery by helping you set goals and connecting you to services within the community.
